With the USB 3.0 Gigabit SFP adapter, you can add an SFP port to your notebook and connect directly to a fibre optic network via a suitable fibre optic transceiver. This fibre optic interface is the right choice for mobile use in conjunction with notebooks as well as for stationary use with desktop systems. This SFP adapter also fulfils its purpose in data and server centres in terms of monitoring and troubleshooting applications; you can access the fibre optic infrastructure directly and with full bandwidth. Uncomplicated to use, it offers a wealth of possibilities and is the right addition for most computers that do not have an SFP connection as standard. Thanks to the virtual drive, no driver installation from CD is necessary - just plug it in and get started. Power is also supplied via the USB 3.0 interface.
