At speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s, the Usb 3.0 quickly becomes the new standard in data transmission technology for PCs and laptops. Current computers usually have only 10/100 Ethernet ports, while Macbooks Air, Ultrabooks, Subnotebooks etc. no longer have any Ethernet ports. The existing Usb 2.0 Gigabit Ethernet adapters are limited by the Usb 2.0 standard to a maximum data transmission speed of 480 Mbps, while Digitus Gigabit Ethernet Usb 3.0 adapters reach speeds of 1000 Mbps. With a Usb adapter (AK-300507-000-S) the Digitus network adapter can also be used with your Tablet PC without any problems.
