Damon seems to have emerged victorious from the bitter centuries-long fight with his brother Stefano, because Stefano has disappeared without a trace. But Elena does everything she can to find her great love again - and seeks a confrontation with Damon at the cemetery. Although she loves Stefano unconditionally, she feels the dark fascination that emanates from his breathtakingly beautiful vampire brother. Dressed and repulsed at the same time, Elena is tempted to give Damon what he wants - her blood! But she still has the willpower to stand up to Damon. Despite a snowstorm conjured up by Damon, she sets out on a desperate search for Stefano. When she actually finds him, her blood is the only thing that can strengthen his powers again - But even after their happy reunion, the threatening danger remains, which emanates from Damon. Elena wants to prevent a fight between him and Stefano at all costs - and so she finally gives Damon what he asks for. A fatal mistake! For now the brothers fight each other to the death -
Meanwhile, an indeterminate, dark force in the background seems to be pulling all the strings and bringing disaster to Fell s Church. Is Damon really behind this - or is there another force at work?
