What a speaker. The Zensor 1 is so small that you can tuck it under your arm, yet it sounds as huge as you wouldn't expect from a speaker of this size. You have options: whether as an all-round stereo speaker in primarily small to medium-sized rooms, as a front speaker in 2.1 stereo systems with a subwoofer, or as a satellite for the rear surround channels in a 5.1 home theater system – the versatile little one of the Zensor series meets every challenge successfully. The necessary tools for this are provided by the Zensor 1: the unique, extremely lightweight yet exceptionally rigid wood fiber membrane developed by Dali ensures a very dynamic, detailed, and clean bass and midrange reproduction. The high-frequency range, extending well beyond the audible spectrum, is handled by a particularly light and fast dome membrane. And with its compact 6-liter cabinet, a baffle smaller than a DIN A4 sheet, and an elegant design featuring a high-gloss lacquered front, the Zensor 1 fits perfectly into any modern decor.
Dali's entry-level series is called Zensor and has received much praise not only from the specialist press and retailers since its market launch but also from consumers. No wonder: for relatively little money, you get a lot of hi-fi. The baffle of the Zensor 1 is finished in glossy white or black, giving it a valuable appearance. The edges and corners of the cabinet are well-crafted. On the back, there is the connection terminal, a single-wiring construction. The integrated wall mount is a nice touch, as anyone without a bookshelf, sideboard, or stand can simply hang the Zensor up.
