Product details
PRL FSO Polonez Taxi - Beige
The history of the Polonez begins in late 1972 with plans to introduce a successor to the 125p model. In 1974, a contract was signed between Pol-Mot and the Italian FIAT corporation, transferring the design work to the Italian side. Development work began that same year at the Centro Stile Fiat. The first prototypes of the vehicle, designated as 125PN (Polacco Nuova - Polish New), were produced in 1975.
The name Polonez was chosen in 1978 through a reader survey conducted by the newspaper "Życie Warszawy." The new hatchback design was considered modern and aesthetically pleasing for its time, with a particular focus on safety.
Licensed by FSO. Metal model in 1:43 scale made of die-cast metal with plastic elements. The product complies with European safety standards for toys.
