Product details
The DWL-6610AP Unified A C1200 Dualband Access Point is specifically designed for small to medium-sized businesses, offering impressive bandwidth and flexibility for administrators looking to set up a medium to large WLAN. With the latest wireless standard 802.11ac, the DWL-6610AP keeps you up to date with the latest WLAN technology.
Greater Range and Flexibility
The DWL-6610AP utilizes the 802.11ac standard, reliably delivering the highest transmission speeds with maximum data rates of up to 300 Mbps over the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbps over the 5 GHz band. The internal high-performance omnidirectional antennas enhance range and eliminate dead zones, covering even hard-to-reach areas. With beamforming, the DWL-6610AP achieves an even greater range than its predecessor, providing even more flexibility for various installation environments.
Thanks to dual-band technology, the DWL-6610AP offers wireless connections across two frequency bands. With the band steering function, the AP achieves better load distribution across its two frequency bands, rather than forcing all users onto the 2.4 GHz band. This ensures smooth video streaming, instant transmission of SMS and emails, and fast downloads on mobile devices.
Central WLAN Network Management
When used with D-Link Wireless Controllers and Unified Switches, the DWL-6610AP can be centrally managed. This allows for easy and efficient setup and management of a large number of APs. Once the Wireless Controller or Unified Switch recognizes the APs, the administrator can apply custom configuration templates instead of configuring the APs individually. Additionally, frequency management and security are also centrally controlled, enabling the administrator to proactively identify potential deficiencies and vulnerabilities.
