With the Gigabit PoE+ Injector DPE-101GI from D-Link, both data and electrical power of up to 19.2 W can be transmitted to PoE-enabled devices. The injector complies with the standards IEEE 802.3a/b/u and offers a range of up to 100 m over an Ethernet cable. The DPE-101GI can be used, among other things, for powering PoE-enabled network devices such as network cameras and Wi-Fi access points. An outlet within reach of these devices becomes unnecessary with the injector, which can be a significant advantage, for example, in room ceilings or near entrances.
