The 8-Port D-Link DGS-108 is designed for small and medium-sized businesses, offering transmission rates of up to 2000 Mbit/s in Gigabit Ethernet, making it ideal for fast file transfers. Each of these ports features two separate color LEDs for quick identification of the connection status. The switch supports the IEEE 802.1p QoS standard and prioritizes data, particularly for streaming, VoIP, and online gaming. With the Kensington security slot on the back, you can secure the device to a table or desk. Thanks to its fanless design and robust metal housing, these perfectly silent switches are ideal for offices, libraries, or meeting rooms, as well as vulnerable industrial locations like factories and warehouses.

D-Link Green Technology saves energy and reduces heat generation, thereby extending the product's lifespan without compromising performance. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) detects when a connected computer is turned off or when there is no Ethernet traffic, allowing it to shut down the port. It also detects the length of the cable used at each port and adjusts its power consumption to use only the energy necessary for a good transmission.

The DGS-108 is designed with the environment in mind. It is Energy Star Level V, CEC, and MEPS compliant, requiring the use of cost-effective sector adapters.
