Product details

This desktop switch is designed for the SoHo environment and workgroups. It offers 24 10/100 Mbps ports for workstation computers or servers. Hubs can also be connected to the switches. All ports automatically detect the transmission rate (10 Mbps or 100 Mbps) of the connected devices.

The ports automatically differentiate between full-duplex and half-duplex operation and support flow control. The DES-1024D is easily expandable through Auto Uplink, providing a quick and secure way to enlarge the network. Flow control according to IEEE 802.3x enables a direct connection between the server and the switch for fast and reliable data transfers. With 200 Mbps in full-duplex mode, this switch provides your server with high-speed data channels with minimal loss rates.

The DES-1024D operates without a fan, making it ideal for use directly at the workstation or as a patch cable distributor. With the included mounting materials, it can be installed in a 19" cabinet or rack.
