Product details

A Seamless Network
Unlike traditional repeaters, Covr creates a seamless network and automatically connects you to the strongest signal as you move around your home.

Hybrid Technology
Covr utilizes PowerLine technology to transmit network data through the electrical wiring in your home. There are no performance losses, even with thick walls or large distances between repeaters.

High Performance
The separate PowerLine infrastructure does not burden your Wi-Fi, ensuring it is available at full speed for your wireless devices. Combined with Wave 2 Wi-Fi AC 1200, Covr always provides enough bandwidth, making performance issues a thing of the past.

Setup? What setup?
Covr comes pre-configured, so setup is practically unnecessary. Simply connect one Covr to your existing router and plug the devices into an outlet. With the D-Link Wi-Fi App, your Wi-Fi will be ready to use in just a few minutes.

Discreet Design
We have packaged this fantastic technology discreetly, allowing you to optimize your Wi-Fi effortlessly.

D-Link Wi-Fi App
With the new D-Link Wi-Fi App, managing your home Wi-Fi no longer feels like "wireless network administration." Everything is wonderfully simple.

Two test scenarios: House and flat For the test, we set up two example scenarios: One simulates a 250 square metre flat, the other a single-family home with several floors. In the flat scenario, we supplemented the existing router with a repeater or two mesh or powerline devices...

Unlike more expensive models (for example Devolo dLAN 1200+ Wifi ac, see c't 23/2017, p. 76), the COVR-P2502 does not span a guest network. The idle power consumption, however, is at the same level. Those who can do without a guest network can save a few euros with the COVR-P2502 kit, at least at the time of purchase.
