Use Cricut's permanent vinyl to create beautiful decorations that can also be used outdoors, as it is UV and water-resistant. To work with the vinyl using your Cricut cutting machine, there are just a few things to keep in mind: Place the vinyl with the backing side down on your Cricut StandardGrip cutting mat. Then, select the images and size you want to cut. The machine will only cut the top layer of the vinyl, leaving the backing intact. However, to ensure that all settings are correct, you should always perform a test cut first. The vinyl can also be used with a cutting machine from another manufacturer. To transfer the cut designs onto your desired object, you will also need transfer paper, which is not included in the package.
