The Small Business PoE Injector supplies the downstream device, such as a wireless access point or an IP phone, with 30 watts of direct current when connected to a preceding non-PoE switch. The PoE injector has two Ethernet ports. One port is designated for the upstream non-PoE device, while the other port is the power supply port that connects to the downstream PoE-enabled device.
