The Cisco Meraki MS is a cloud-managed switch. This means that the benefits of the cloud, such as simplified management, reduced complexity, network-wide transparency and control, as well as lower costs for branch and campus deployments, can also be utilized in the enterprise network. The concept of Meraki switches is fully designed for easy management, yet it does not compromise on the performance and flexibility that enterprise-class switches must provide. For example, Cisco Meraki switches are not managed through a cryptic command line but through an intuitive cloud interface. Meraki switches are ready to use immediately upon connection—there's no need for complicated configuration files or pre-staging.
