At the touch of a button, the dial or display of the watch is illuminated particularly brightly and in colour so that everything can be seen even in absolute darkness. A second local time can be set and called up. Ideal, for example, if you frequently make overseas calls. For sportsmen and all those who want to know exactly: Elapsed time, split time and end time are measured with an accuracy of hundredths of a second. The measuring capacity of the watch reaches up to 24 hours. The countdown timer helps to remind you of special or recurring events by emitting an acoustic signal at the set time. The time can be set at one-second intervals and up to 24 hours in advance. Daily recurring events are reminded by the daily alarm, which sounds an acoustic signal at the set time. A vibrating alarm silently alerts you to events such as countdown timers, stop times and wake-up times. If desired, the button tones can be switched off with the mode button. After switching off, there is then no longer a beep when changing from one function to the next. Once set, alarms or countdown timers are still active after the keypad tones are turned off, and the automatic calendar always shows the correct date. The time display can be set to either 12 or 24 hour format. In 12-hour mode, a "p" in the display indicates the second half of the day, i.e. 12 noon to 11.59 pm.
