The model is a replica of the sailing ship named "Krusenstern." The four-masted barque was built in Germany in 1926 and was handed over to the Soviet Union in 1946. Since then, it has been used as a sailing training ship for the Russian fleet. The "Krusenstern" is the second-largest sailing ship still in operation.
