The model is a replica of the heavy Sturmtiger. The Sturmtiger was a German heavy assault weapon from World War II. It was developed in 1943 based on the chassis of the Tiger tank and was intended for the destruction of enemy fortifications and for battles in urban areas. Between 1943 and 1945, 18 Sturmtigers were reconfigured from main tanks, including one prototype. They were used in battles only to a limited extent until the end of the war, but due to their small numbers, lack of suitable targets, unreliability, high weight, and ammunition issues, Sturmtigers did not play a significant role.
