Product Name: 1:100 "Maus" German WWII Super Heavy Tank
Number of Parts: 15
The model is a replica of the German tank known as the "Maus." The development of the super heavy tank Maus began in 1942 by Ferdinand Porsche. As a result, two prototypes of this tank were built. They passed tests in 1944 and early 1945. However, production of the Maus was never initiated. In April 1945, both prototypes were destroyed as the Red Army approached the testing area. Nevertheless, a captured Maus was rebuilt. It was then transported for storage to the testing area in Kubinka near Moscow, where it is now on display.
