The cnPilot E502S is an outdoor WLAN access point equipped with a sector antenna that can be installed with a 30° radiation angle. This sector allows for targeted illumination of specific areas. With the E502S, you can create up to 16 SSIDs, and up to 256 clients can connect simultaneously to a single access point. This is made possible by the built-in 2x2 MIMO technology.

Thanks to the roaming functionality of the access point, it is possible to set up a network with multiple access points - the system automatically and seamlessly connects each client to the strongest access point. This enables IP telephony over the WLAN network.

Perfect for demanding applications with high user density – stadiums, events, public WLAN in environments with high interference, high-bay warehouses, and much more – to provide cost-effective controller-managed WLAN access points. Cambium Networks relies on a free cloud and/or free software for the controller, which can be operated without extensive technical knowledge. Unlike many competitors, no licenses or similar fees are required for the controller.
