The 60-GHz cnWave solution from Cambium Networks provides simple, fast, and cost-effective wireless gigabit connectivity for edge access and/or high-capacity backhaul at significantly lower total operating costs than fiber infrastructure. Service providers and enterprises now have access to gigabit connectivity for business and private use, backhaul for Wi-Fi access, or LTE/5G small cells. The cnWave mesh solutions certified for Facebook Terragraph are highly efficient in handling high-density deployments in urban and suburban areas.

Details: The V3000 is a 60-GHz PTP/PtMP device with a directional antenna featuring a 2° (1° vertical) beamwidth and a gain of 44.5 dBi for long distances. The device has 2 gigabit ports and an optical SFP+ slot. The first gigabit port supports passive PoE IN 44-57V DC, and the second gigabit port supports PoE Out with the 802.3at standard, which is particularly suitable for powering cameras. The wireless component supports two bandwidths: 2160 MHz and 4320 MHz (actual firmware), with an actual wireless connection speed of 5.4 Gbit/s (2.7 Gbit/s downlink, 2.7 Gbit/s uplink) and supports wireless modes PtMP, Mesh, or PTP. The maximum power consumption of the device is 30 W, including PoE output of up to 55 W.

The device can be managed via the web interface or the cnMaestro cloud element management system to simplify deployment, monitoring, and updates.
