The Busch-Jaeger housing 1758 WN-53 is a high-quality surface-mounted enclosure specifically designed for data communication. It features a taller design that allows for optimal use with DKS sockets of types 1850 EB to 1872 EB and 1876 EB. The enclosure is made from halogen-free thermoplastic and has a matte surface in the color gray (similar to RAL 7035). It is equipped with a cable entry but does not include a screw entry or a cover frame. The integrated labeling field measures 57.8 x 9.8 mm, allowing for easy identification. With an IP44 protection rating, the enclosure is protected against dust ingress and splashing water, making it ideal for use in various environments. The enclosure is not suitable for use with certain DKS sockets, which should be taken into account during planning.
