Optimal fiber optic connections. The BlueOptics SFP2122BU5MS is a 5-meter fiber optic patch cable featuring LC/APC to SC/UPC simplex connectors and single-mode fiber (SMF) of fiber category SM G.657.A1 (fiber type E9/125µm), in yellow color. These cables have a flame-retardant LSZH jacket. They are designed for the transmission of 1310nm / 1550nm signals and are suitable for connecting patch panel ports to each other or for connecting optical transceivers.

Best attenuation values: The BlueOptics SFP2122BU5MS 5-meter single-mode SM G.657.A1 LC-SC simplex patch cables have an attenuation value of 0.4dB per kilometer, low insertion loss, and high return loss. Further optimization of the return loss can also be achieved by adjusting the polish type (UPC or 8° APC).
