High-Speed Rack Solution: The Cisco CAB-STK-E-0.5M compatible 0.5 Meter Stacking Cable is a passive twinax copper variant designed for connecting Cisco hardware within racks and across adjacent racks, adhering to MSA standards from the brand BlueLAN. It enables stacking of up to 8 switches and supports speeds of up to 40 Gbps on Catalyst 2960-X and 2960-XR with C2960X-STACK Flex Stack Plus or the C2960X-HYBRID-STK Flex Stack Extended Hybrid module. For Catalyst 2960-S and 2960-SF, it offers speeds of up to 20 Gbps with C2960S-STACK or the 2960S-F-STACK Flex Stack module. This cable is suitable for use with all common Cisco hardware platforms that officially support the original Cisco CAB-STK-E-0.5M 0.5 Meter Stacking Cable. Each compatible stacking cable supports Ethernet, FCoE, Fibre Channel, and InfiniBand applications of up to 10G per second over a distance of 0.5 meters.
