The Volano B3 features a 100Cr6 steel blade with a diameter of 30 cm and a round cutting capacity of 18.5 cm, while the rectangular capacity is 23 cm x 17 cm. It can slice pieces with a thickness ranging from 0 to 3 mm. The concave shape of the blade only touches the food at the cutting point, preventing changes in taste and smell.

An integrated sharpening device, a system for anchoring/releasing the food, a blade guard, and a tray for collecting waste ensure the longevity of the slicing machine while adhering to all safety precautions and optimal hygiene standards. The blade, collection tray, and other parts of the machine can be easily removed, cleaned, or replaced.
