This Layer 2/3 switch with extensive L3 features has been specifically designed for high data load applications, such as IP video and video streaming, including multicast. The switch includes comprehensive security features that protect both the switch itself and the network traffic. The PoE functionality allows IP cameras to be powered through the data cable. With extensive management options, even complex network requirements can be met.

Active camera monitoring: The switch continuously monitors the PoE-powered cameras. In the event of a camera failure, the switch automatically reboots the camera and sends an SNMP message.

Active monitoring of PoE supply: If too much power is demanded from the switch due to a faulty camera, the switch warns via SNMP.

Active management of PoE power: When the switch starts up, individual PoE ports can be powered on with a delay to prevent overloading the PoE power supply units.

Active integration of the switch into video management systems: Software modules are available for popular video management systems like Milestone and Siveillance Video, enabling direct integration of switch management and DMS into these VMS.

Uninterrupted PoE power supply: The PoE supply to powered devices is not interrupted during the switch reboot.

Jumbo frames even at 100 Mbps: Jumbo frames up to 10,240 bytes are supported at 100 Mbps.
