Product details
Bandai's model kit brand "Plannosaurus" encourages you to learn about dinosaurs by assembling them from the skeleton yourself! Start with the skeleton construction, where you build the dinosaur's skeleton piece by piece; during the dinosaur assembly, you can attach the outer skin parts to the skeleton. No pliers or glue are required, making them easy to assemble!
The Brachiosaurus, the super-sized sauropod from the late Jurassic period, features the huge nasal cavity on top of its head and a row of chisel-sharp teeth for biting into plants. The long front legs, which extend from the shoulders and are higher than the waist, are modeled as accurately as possible based on fossils. The tail, which is short for a sauropod but likely served as a powerful weapon against predators, is also reproduced. The characteristic skeletal shape of the neck is realistically depicted, including the nerve spines that firmly support the long neck muscles, the increased strength from the overlapping bones, and the gaps on the sides of the neck. After assembly, the neck moves smoothly, allowing you to replicate the motion of lowering the neck from the base to drink water or graze on grass on the ground. The sharp claws on the thumbs of the front and hind legs, shaped as if standing on tiptoes and not visible from the outside, are based on the skeleton.
