To expand the polarity switches SPU 54-0x to 516-0x for 6, 12, or 18 participants. With the cascade modules, 4 SAT IF polarization levels including terrestrial signals (e.g., FM radio) can be distributed to multiple SAT receivers. SPU 556-09 = 6 receivers, SPU 558-09 = 8 receivers, SPU 5512-09 = 12 receivers, and SPU 5518-09 = 18 receivers. For a cascade system with the cascade modules SPU 556-09, SPU 558-09, SPU 5512-09, or SPU 5518-09, you will need one of the polarity switches SPU 56-09, 510-09, or 516-09. Please refer to the operating manual of the polarity switch when commissioning it. Connect the outputs of the polarity switches to the inputs of the cascade modules. Use F/F quick-fix adapters (not included) to easily stack the devices together. If you are using multiple cascade modules, connect the outputs of one cascade module to the inputs of another cascade module.
