The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 310 is ideal for extending existing WLAN networks, as it supports all common wireless standards. The device takes advantage of WLAN N technology while remaining backward compatible with the 802.11g and b standards. Through the use of MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology and the latest methods for range and throughput optimization, it increases both range and data rate compared to previous 11n-based solutions. The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 310 ensures security by supporting the latest encryption standards with WPA2 (802.11i) and WPA. The WPS function allows for a highly secure WPA2-encrypted connection to be easily established via the WLAN button on the access point. Information about the operational status is conveniently displayed directly on the device via LED indicators. A special advantage of the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 310 is its very compact design, which allows it to be used in practically any 230V socket without the need for cables or special mounting. Additionally, its low power consumption of approximately 2 watts in operation is exceptionally efficient. The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 310 is perfectly tuned for FRITZ!WLAN products. With WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), the repeater can be easily installed at the push of a button. Existing WPS-enabled products, such as the AVM FRITZ.Box models 7490, 7560, 7590, 3490, and others, can be effortlessly and conveniently equipped with additional WLAN range. For all access points without a built-in WPS function, installation is facilitated by a user-friendly assistant.
