The Fritz!Box 7690 benefits massively from the upgrade to (Pre-)Wi-Fi 7 in terms of Wi-Fi performance. As usual, its range of functions is very large and the hardware is powerful. The only area where the red pen was a little too strong was the connections.
The brand new FritzBox 7690 has the new Wifi 7 on board; among other things, it provides a significant Wi-Fi speed boost. The 7690 also connects smart home devices from IKEA and Philips Hue via Zig-Bee, for example. A price tip for smaller households is the FritzBox 7530 AX (from 151 euros).
