Fast connections with VDSL, WLAN AC+N and Gigabit Ethernet
The FRITZ! 7560 Box connects the high-speed home network to any DSL connection - whether ADSL/ADSL2+ or VDSL - and can be used by all DSL providers. Modern WLAN AC+N ensures high speeds of up to 866 Mbps in the wireless home network. The FRITZ! 7560 Box supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz simultaneously. This leads to a noticeably greater range and higher transmission rates in the WLAN. The modern processor equipment and 4 ultra-fast Gigabit LAN connections make the high-speed network perfect.

Versatile telephony options
The integrated telephone system is designed for IP-based connections (Voice over IP). Telephone calls are made via up to six cordless telephones that can be registered at the integrated DECT base. A connection for a conventional analogue telephone is also available. IP telephones and smartphones can also be fully integrated into the integrated telephone system. Several integrated answering machines, local and online directories as well as numerous convenience functions complete the broad telephony offer of the FRITZ!box 7560: In connection with the intelligent power socket FRITZ!DECT 200, connected devices are switched individually by the FRITZ! box user - via app, automatically or via cloud service.

Movies, photos, music and more across the home network
The FRITZ! 7560! box has a USB 2.0 interface for the connection of USB accessories, such as printers or hard drives, which can be used throughout the network. A media server offers the platform for networked applications such as IPTV, video on demand or media streaming. Stored movies, music and pictures are available throughout the network and can be distributed to playback devices via smartphone and FRITZ! app media, for example.

Routers

A router is a device that forwards data packets between computer networks, creating an overlay internetwork. A router is connected to two or more data lines from different networks. When a data packet comes in one of the lines, the router reads the address information in the packet to determine its ultimate destination. Then, using information in its routing table or routing policy, it directs the packet to the next network on its journey. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet. A data packet is typically forwarded from one router to another through the networks that constitute the internetwork until it gets to its destination node.

DLNA

Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) has the goal that devices from different manufacturers can share media over a network. For example, movies are stored on a Digital Media Server (for example, a NAS). A Digital Media Player (for example, a DLNA-enabled TV or Blu-ray Player) has the ability to find and play the movies from the NAS.

802.11a
i

802.11a

IEEE 802.11a-1999 or 802.11a, is an amendment to the IEEE 802.11 specification that added a higher throughput of up to 54 Mbit/s by using the 5 GHz band.

802.11b

802.11b has a maximum raw data rate of 11 Mbit/s and uses the same media access method defined in the original standard. 802.11b products appeared on the market in early 2000, since 802.11b is a direct extension of the modulation technique defined in the original standard. The dramatic increase in throughput of 802.11b (compared to the original standard) along with simultaneous substantial price reductions led to the rapid acceptance of 802.11b as the definitive wireless LAN technology.

802.11g

This works in the 2.4 GHz band (like 802.11b) but operates at a maximum raw data rate of 54 Mbit/s, or about 19 Mbit/s net throughput. 802.11g hardware is fully backwards compatible with 802.11b hardware.

802.11n

802.11n is a proposed amendment which improves upon the previous 802.11 standards by adding multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) and many other newer features. Though there are already many products on the market based on Draft 2.0 of this proposal, the TGn workgroup is not expected to finalize the amendment until November 2008.

WPA-PSK

Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) is a certification program administered by the Wi-Fi Alliance to indicate compliance with the security protocol created by the Wi-Fi Alliance to secure wireless computer networks. This protocol was created in response to several serious weaknesses researchers had found in the previous system, Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP). PSK means that it is only for Pre-Shared-Key mode

WPA2-PSK
i

WPA2-PSK

The advanced protocol, certified through Wi-Fi Alliance's WPA2 program, implements the mandatory elements of 802.11i. In particular, it introduces a new AES-based algorithm, CCMP, that is considered fully secure. From March 13, 2006, WPA2 certification is mandatory for all new devices wishing to be certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance as "Wi-Fi CERTIFIED." PSK means that it is only for Pre-Shared-Key mode.

USB 2.0 type A

Universal Serial Bus (USB) is a serial bus standard to interface devices. USB was designed to allow many peripherals to be connected using a single standardized interface socket and to improve the plug-and-play capabilities by allowing devices to be connected and disconnected without rebooting the computer (hot swapping). Other convenient features include providing power to low-consumption devices without the need for an external power supply and allowing many devices to be used without requiring manufacturer specific, individual device drivers to be installed.
The Mini-B, Micro-A, Micro-B , and Micro-AB connectors are used for smaller devices such as PDAs, mobile phones or digital cameras. The Standard-A plug is approximately 4 by 12 mm, the Standard-B approximately 7 by 8 mm, and the Micro-A and Micro-B plugs approximately 2 by 7 mm.

Power supply

A power supply is a device that supplies electrical energy to one or more electric loads. The term is most commonly applied to devices that convert one form of electrical energy to another, though it may also refer to devices that convert another form of energy (e.g., mechanical, chemical, solar) to electrical energy. A regulated power supply is one that controls the output voltage or current to a specific value; the controlled value is held nearly constant despite variations in either load current or the voltage supplied by the power supply's energy source.
