Product details
In 1946, Hans Hürlimann launched two of the best tractors in the world, the D-100 and D-200. The Hürlimann engine, with a power output of 45 HP, was the result of decades of experience in engine manufacturing. The engines were designed based on the then-modern principle of direct injection. The low-revving 4-cylinder diesel engine was characterized by its smooth, balanced operation and very high lifespan. For many years, Hürlimann tractors featured the proven Hürlimann worm gear, which was completely insensitive to severe overload. The worm and worm wheel of the Hürlimann tractor were even manufactured on the world-famous machines of David Brown. The Swiss Army was also impressed by the Hürlimann quality and procured over 120 units of the D-200 model between 1948 and 1952. The last units were still in use as late as 1992.
