Im Gegensatz zum 5 GHz Band bei dem der Repeater sehr gute Ergebnisse liefern konnte, zeigte der Asus leider im 2,4 GHz bereich deutliche Schwächen und konnte die WLAN Geschwindigkeit nicht erhöhen. Dafür bietet das kompakte Gerät die Möglichkeit Internetradio zu empfangen, wobei hier für eine Kopfhörerbuchse eingebaut ist.
