The ASUS DSL-AC68VG can connect to the internet in multiple ways: via DSL, network, or 3G/4G LTE connection. Depending on the requirements, the ASUS DSL-AC68VG can be used as a DSL modem or as a standalone Wi-Fi router. With the ability to switch between connections instantly in case of a disruption, this router is perfect for providing a reliable, always-available internet connection. It requires a compatible USB dongle. MU-MIMO provides each compatible device with its own Wi-Fi connection at maximum speed. This allows multiple devices to connect simultaneously without slowing down the network. The ASUS DSL-AC68VG can connect up to 3 MU-MIMO-compatible devices at the same time, each at the maximum speed of the respective device. In contrast, traditional single-user MIMO technology requires individual devices to wait in turn for transmissions.
