The HP 1950 Switch Series consists of intelligent web-managed Gigabit switches with 10 GbE uplinks designed for small businesses that require advanced, high-performance connections. The series includes 2 standard and 2 PoE+ models with 24 and 48 GbE ports, each equipped with 2 10GBASE-T and 2 10G SFP+ high-bandwidth ports.

True stacking of up to 4 devices allows them to be logically managed as a single unit. The switches support static Layer 3 routing for both IPv4 and IPv6.

Other advanced features include ACLs, 802.1X, STP, RSTP, and MSTP. The limited lifetime warranty covers the unit, fans, and power supplies.

Each model in the HP 1950 Switch Series includes four 10 GbE connections for connecting to servers, network storage devices, or other switches. Two 10GBASE-T connections provide 10 GbE performance over Category 6a copper cables for simple, cost-effective high-bandwidth connections over a maximum distance of 100 meters. Two SFP+ ports enable fiber connections over various distances at 1/10 GbE speeds with optional SFP+ 10 GbE or SFP Gigabit transceivers. Aggregated 10 GbE connections offer even greater bandwidth with Link Aggregation Control Protocol.
