A direct hit: the new iMac is really fast and yet pleasantly quiet, the fans are barely audible. Even gaming is possible, albeit with reduced screen resolution. The screen is a stunner with its enormous richness of detail and crisp and very accurately displayed colours. For a glossy display, reflections are kept within limits...
The perfect desktop computer for most people.
The test device reviewed here is equipped with a generous 16 gigabytes of RAM - an extra 230 euros. However, this was not really needed in the test. However, if you want to use a new iMac for many years, you might want to invest this premium in the future-proofing of the system...
