The Amazon Fire TV 4 is the best when it comes to apps and streaming. The picture and sound quality are sufficient for everyday TV viewing. However, it lacks maximum brightness and rich blacks for a real home cinema feeling, and we particularly miss Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ in the features table.
The new Fire TV 4K Max is particularly convincing in terms of navigation speed. Operation is completely free of delays, apps are installed quickly, but also opened quickly. In our test, which lasted several days, we did not manage to crash the 4K stick. ... One step forward, one step back: It is not only stupid that Amazon continues to release players that do not support all available formats for all streaming services despite other statements.
