The APS084 is an 8-Port 10/100 Mbps switch with 4-Port PoE that seamlessly meets the demands of high-performance PoE network applications with a fast Ethernet connection. With an output power of up to 60 W, the APS084 powers PoE-enabled devices over Cat. 5E / Cat. 6 cables. Since it delivers both power and data over Ethernet, the APS084 simplifies cabling and extends power to PoE-PD devices (IP cameras, wireless APs, or IP phones) over a distance of up to 100 meters.

The APS084 is environmentally friendly and supports the latest energy-saving technologies, including Energy-Efficient Ethernet mode (EEE; defined in IEEE 802.3az), to reduce the power consumption of the network system. No configuration is necessary; the APS084 automatically detects and determines the required output power for connected devices.
