The Akuvox security relay provides an additional layer of security for door openers and electric locks when used in conjunction with compatible Akuvox intercom systems and access devices.

This simple add-on device prevents unauthorized opening of doors secured with a 12V battery, a technique that criminals use to open electric locks.

The SR01 is ultra-compact, easily fitting into most standard installation boxes and is installed on the secure side of the door.

By installing an SR01 relay into the locking system of any door, the need for an automatic verification code from the Akuvox intercom system is added to unlock the door. If the security relay does not receive a code, the door remains locked.
