Product details

The AKCP vibration sensor is designed to protect against forced entry. It is a normally closed contact switch that detects when there are vibrations or a window has been broken. The sensor can be connected to both the sensorProbe and securityProbe base units and linked with notification messages. This sensor protects against forced entry using tools like hammers, saws, crowbars, etc., through walls, ceilings, windows, safes, cabinets, and more. It triggers an alarm when a vibration from an unwanted force impacts the protected surface. A built-in tamper switch operates independently of the vibration detector circuit to facilitate handling.

The vibrationDetect sensor can be connected to the sensorProbe and securityProbe units via RJ-45 dry contact sensors. Alternatively, it can be directly connected to the potential-free contact inputs of the sensorProbe8-X20, sensorProbe8-X60, securityProbeX-20, and securityProbe-X60, allowing for the protection of multiple windows with just a single base unit.

Compatible with: SP1+ Basic, SP1+ Professional, SP2+ Basic, SP2+ Professional, SP2+ Basic LCD, SP2+ Professional LCD.

Included: AKCP - VDS.
