Product details

Ideal for detecting water leaks in hard-to-reach areas, such as under raised floors and ceilings. The Locate Rope Water Sensor provides you with the exact location of the water leak, allowing you to respond immediately to protect your company's resources from water damage. This sensor comes fully assembled and includes the rope part, which is the water detection cable, the non-detection cable (from the rope to the detection module), and the main detection module. The sensor cable can be pre-ordered in a minimum length of 10 feet up to a custom length (in multiples of 10 feet) of up to 160 feet. The non-sensor cable is provided in a standard length of 20 feet. The specific position of the water along the rope can be used to trigger alarms such as email, SMS, phone calls, and SNMP traps. The sensor has its own SNMP OID, allowing it to be monitored over the network with any network management system. Each Locate Rope Water Sensor comes complete with a 5-foot sensor cable that connects the main sensor module to the RJ-45 sensor ports of the AKCP remote monitoring base unit, or you can use your own CAT5/6 LAN cable. This cable can be extended up to 30 meters. The rope water sensor with location function can identify the number of feet/meters along the rope where the first leak was detected. Suitable for: SP1+ Basic, SP1+ Professional, SP2+ Basic, SP2+ Professional, SP2+ Basic LCD, SP2+ Professional LCD. Package includes: AKCP - LWSC10.
