SensorProbeX+ expansion architecture Each SPX+ has both EXP (Expansion) and BEB (Basic Expansion Bus) connections. These expansion connections offer you the option of adding further functions to your basic device so that your system can grow with your requirements. Basic Expansion Bus (BEB) BEB is suitable for short-distance expansion within your control cabinet. Expand your system with additional SPX+ BEB remote units. Interlink the expansion units up to a maximum of 20 metres for the entire chain. SPX+ BEB Remote units are a cost-effective extension if you place the unit in the same or a neighbouring enclosure. 4x BEB - Max. Total cable length 10 metres 3x BEB - Max.
