AK Interactive Infantry Support Weapon Set 1: DShKM & SPG-9

Product details
The fire support weapons manufactured in the Soviet Union, along with their licensed and unofficial copies, were delivered to a multitude of countries during the Cold War, and thousands of them are still in use worldwide today. The DShKM 12.7 mm heavy machine gun is undoubtedly the most well-known among them, with only the American M2 Browning achieving similar popularity. Interestingly, both heavy machine guns were developed before World War II. Although not as famous as the "Dushka," the SPG-9 73 mm recoilless gun has been used in numerous conflicts since its introduction in 1962 and can still be seen in current footage of modern warfare.
The AK35005 set combines highly detailed replicas of both weapons with the necessary tripods. Also included are a vehicle mount that can be used for the chosen weapon, spare ammunition belts and projectiles, as well as various ammunition boxes. This provides model builders with numerous options to use the set's components as vehicle armament, as cargo, as diorama accessories, or even as main elements of a small scene that can depict nearly any conflict of the last few decades.
The kit includes:
- over 60 plastic parts
- photo-etched parts
- a tripod for the DShKM, two variants of the SPG-9 tripod, and a vehicle mount for the weapons
- various ammunition boxes and SPG-9 projectiles.
