DoorProtect Magnetic and Reed Wireless Alarm Sensor Wireless magnetic sensor that reports the first signs of a break-in through doors or windows. It can be installed on all types of doors, including metal bases. Operates for up to 7 years without battery replacement. Has an external contact for connecting third-party sensors. Magnets are available in different sizes and can be attached to narrow door and window frames. How it works The unit detects the opening of a door or window using a high-end British reed switch activated by a magnetic field. It can operate in transmitter mode and send a signal from a wired sensor to the control panel. Functions The unit consists of two modules - a sensor and a magnet. Two magnets are included in the delivery: The large magnet can be placed at a distance of up to 2 cm, the small magnet can be placed at a distance of up to 1 cm.
