The FireProtect 2 SB from Ajax is an advanced, wireless smoke detector specifically designed for indoor use. It combines the functions of smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide sensors to provide comprehensive protection against various hazards. The optical dual-spectrum sensor enables precise smoke detection and minimizes the risk of false alarms through the innovative HazeFlow algorithm. An alarm is triggered immediately when the temperature rises by about 10 °C within a minute or exceeds 64 °C. The integrated chemical CO sensor responds to dangerous carbon monoxide concentrations starting from 50 ppm. Communication occurs via the reliable Jeweller protocol, which allows a range of up to 1700 m in open fields. With a built-in siren of 85 dB and an LED status indicator, the FireProtect 2 SB offers effective warnings in case of danger. The simple pairing and configuration via the Ajax Hub using a QR code ensures user-friendly installation.
