Aeronaut Folding propeller CAMcarbon Z 13x6.5

CAMcarbon folding propellers have been the standard in electric flight for many years. This is reason enough to further develop this series. The new Z propellers have been specifically optimized for even tighter folding against narrow glider fuselages. Even with box-shaped wooden fuselages, such as our models Triple, Helios, or Soleo, the new shape of the CAMcarbon Z allows for a significantly closer fit of the blades to the fuselage.

The blades are compatible with all existing folding propeller systems designed for 8 mm blade roots. Therefore, the propellers can be easily used with our entire range of CN spinners and precision spinners.

However, the optimal results are achieved in combination with the Z spinners (CN). Depending on the fuselage, it is possible to fold without an intermediate gap, which not only improves the aesthetics but also enhances aerodynamic performance.

The airfoil has been optimized in the root area. A carbon fiber-reinforced plastic is used as the material.

The specified size of the folding propeller refers to the use of a spacer of 42 mm. When using smaller or larger spacers, the diameter and pitch will change accordingly.

Caution: The operation of folding propellers is only permitted up to the specified maximum RPM and in conjunction with a soft start of the motor. The permissible maximum RPM can be found on the packaging of the folding propeller.
