The Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 is a hidden door sensor that can be directly installed into your door frame. The installation is incredibly easy. Pairing it with a Z-Wave smart home system requires nothing more than activating the battery and scanning the QR code. To make the door sensor invisible, only a concealed drilling hole in the door frame is necessary.

Perfectly upgraded with Aeotec's Gen7 technology, the Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 features Z-Wave Plus V2, S2 Wireless Security, and SmartStart installation.

The battery life lasts up to 2 years. With its new technology, the Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 now lasts twice as long as older models. The battery replacement is done by removing the sensor from the door frame. After that, the battery is replaced, and the sensor is simply reinserted.
