Advantech ICR-2031

The industrial mobile router ICR-2031 is designed for wireless communication in mobile networks that utilize conventional mobile technologies. The main purpose of this router is its use in Category 4 (Cat.4) services in the LTE mobile network. The Category 4 ICR-2031 router is capable of achieving better typical speeds in 4G coverage areas where the network is equipped with 20 MHz of contiguous spectrum. The peak downlink data rate for Category 4 is approximately 150 Mbit/s. In the uplink, LTE Category 4 also offers a peak data rate of 50 Mbit/s. Optionally, integrated WiFi 802.11 ac, b, g, n is available with AP, Client, and Multirole modes. The router is equipped with an Ethernet port and digital I/O connectivity (1× DI, 1× DO). The router supports the establishment of VPN tunnels using various protocols to ensure secure communication. It offers diagnostic functions that include automatic monitoring of wireless and wired connections, automatic restart in case of connection losses, and a hardware watchdog to monitor the router's status. With an open Linux platform and extensive programming capabilities for customer software applications in Python, C/C++. The existing Advantech App Library Router Apps (user modules) with already developed apps to extend specific router functions, including industrial protocol conversions and support for IoT platforms such as MS Azure, Cumulocity, ThingWorx, and others are supported on the router.
