The EKI-1528 and EKI-1526 are industrial-grade, network-based serial device servers designed for the direct connection of up to 8 or 16 serial RS-232/422/485 devices, such as CNCs, PLCs, scales, and scanners, to a TCP/IP network. The EKI-1528 and EKI-1526 feature two independent Ethernet ports and MAC addresses to provide a redundant network mechanism that ensures the reliability of the Ethernet network. They offer a simple and cost-effective way to leverage remote management and data access for thousands of devices that cannot be connected to an Ethernet network. The EKI-1528 and EKI-1526 provide multiple configuration options via the Windows utility, web browser, serial console, or Telnet console. These methods facilitate the management of many EKI-1528 and EKI-1526 units or serial devices in your network. Package includes: Advantech EKI-1528.
