Description

The ACT Industrial sensor cables (actuator cables) are equipped with a TPE sheath (Thermo Plastic Elastomer), making them highly resistant to mechanical stress such as movement in a chain. The connectors are made of molded TPE, and the protection class is IP67. Superflex SF/UTP cables have each individual conductor made up of 28 strands of copper, which together form a diameter of AWG26. This makes the cable more flexible than, for example, a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Twisted conductors consist of uninsulated, thin strands that are twisted together. The greater the number of strands in a twisted cable, the more flexible the cable is.
