The AC4451 Gigabit Ethernet media converter offers a flexible and powerful solution for a quick and easy transition from Gigabit Ethernet over fiber to Gigabit Ethernet over copper (RJ45) and vice versa. The unmanaged media converter features an open SFP slot that can accommodate an unencoded single-mode or multi-mode SFP transceiver. Additionally, the Ethernet media converter includes Link Fault Passthrough (LFP) for connection fault detection. Various operating modes can be set using the integrated dip switches.
