Abus Smoke detector

The detection range of the smoke alarm is up to 40 m² and is limited to the room in which it is installed. For optimal protection, it is recommended to have one smoke detector per hallway, staircase, living room, and bedroom. Unwanted alarms caused by disturbances such as dust or steam can be easily silenced by pressing the large test button. Important notes on installation and battery life: In residential properties, bedrooms, children's rooms, and hallways that serve as escape routes from living areas must each have at least one smoke alarm. The smoke alarms must be installed or mounted in such a way that fire smoke is detected and reported early. A permanently installed 3 V lithium battery ensures reliable operation and a long lifespan of the smoke alarm. The proper functioning of the detector should be regularly checked by pressing the large test button. Malfunctions or a weak battery are indicated both acoustically and visually.
